Team History:
In January 2000, the Tigershark Endurance Racing team was formed in an effort to create a platform for training and racing for a small group of friends. There were no dues or rules, no officers or voting - just a group with common interests.
The original members were Rob Wallace, Scotty Dowling, Jecoa Simmons, Scott Petersohn, Tammy Marris, Sean McDaniel, Daniel Wallace and Sean Wallace.
Although the concept remains the same, the team has grown to over 80 members and is a registered club with USA Triathlon.
With the sudden growth in membership comes the need to become better organized. Businesses in the Volusia County area are stepping forward to provide sponsorship for this team. These sponsorship dollars are being used to offset the costs of team apparel. Members are now able to purchase shirts, hats and racewear at reduced costs thanks to our sponsors.
